This weeks essential question was "How should we define democracy? How Democratic was the United States in the 1800s?" Our groups response to this was: Democracy is a system of government where everyone can participate and vote for elected representatives. We also agreed that in the early 1800s Democracy was just beginning to be popular. Our class assignment was to analyze six documents and summarize what we read into a presentation. As you can see above, our group choose a poster.
